Job Description

Under the direct supervision of the Grants Manager This position 'must have a bachelor s degree in human services or related field. Master s degree or graduate course work preferred. Minimum 3 years experience providing services to children and families with community-based experience desired.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Coordinate all program components of the Planned Program Respite Model in Shelby County by implementing and maintaining a quality system of program utilization, model adherence, intake, training requirements, and community image and endeavors. Provide consultation to the Respite service staff, which may include paid staff, students and volunteers. Implement community awareness initiatives to promote a positive program image and maintain a sound referral base. Attend all Respite services meetings, local, State and Federal, as required. Coordinate and hold regular staff meetings. Follow and implement a strengths-based, family-centered, psychoeducational model of service delivery. Provide emergency on- call to Respite Staff. Provide ongoing support and evaluation to service staff including home visits as necessary. Observe policies and procedures as outlined in the Center's Policy and Procedures Manual and Personnel Policy and Procedures Manual. Satisfy the conditions of funding contracts, so that no funds are recalled based on either clinical or administrative standards. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
