Pay:
$15/hour Position Summary Girls Inc. of Tennessee Valley is seeking energetic, dependable, and mission-driven individuals to serve as Summer Camp Facilitators. Facilitators will lead engaging, hands-on programming for girls entering 1st through 8th grade , creating a safe, supportive, and empowering environment aligned with the Girls Inc. mission to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. Key Responsibilities Facilitate daily camp programming, including STEM activities, social-emotional learning, literacy, and recreation Supervise and actively engage with groups of girls throughout the day Foster a positive, inclusive, and trauma-informed environment Support behavior management using positive reinforcement and relationship-building strategies Ensure safety at all times, including transitions, outdoor activities, and field trips Assist with setup, cleanup, and organization of program materials Track attendance, including daily sign-in/sign-out procedures Collaborate with staff to ensure high-quality program delivery Serve as a positive role model for all participants Qualifications Experience working with children (education, childcare, camps, or related fields preferred) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lead and manage groups across a wide age range Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Passion for youth development and working with girls Must pass a background check Preferred Qualifications Background in elementary or middle school education, youth development, or a related field Experience with STEM, arts, or structured recreational programming CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Work Environment & Expectations Active, high-energy environment Indoor and outdoor programming required Consistent attendance is essential due to the short-term nature of campPay:
