Role:

Join the Bastrop County Emergency Food Pantry & Support Center Inc as a Program Coordinator, where you will play a vital role in supporting our community's most vulnerable members. This exciting position offers the opportunity to lead impactful programs that address food insecurity and provide essential support services.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate daily operations of food distribution programs and support services. Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage the community and increase program participation. Manage volunteer recruitment, training, and scheduling to ensure efficient program delivery. Monitor program effectiveness and prepare reports for stakeholders and funding sources. Collaborate with local organizations and agencies to enhance service offerings. Assist in fundraising efforts and grant applications to secure necessary funding. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all program activities. Provide exceptional customer service to clients and maintain a welcoming environment.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in social work, nonprofit management, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in program coordination or nonprofit operations. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse populations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with data management systems. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Passion for community service and commitment to addressing food insecurity. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for outreach activities.
