We provide targeted programs that build resilience, foster meaningful connections, and support personal growth at every stage of military life. Our mission is to promote holistic wellness for veterans and their families, grounded in faith and guided by a commitment to God. All team members are required to align with TWJ's Statement of Faith and fully embrace our mission to serve those who have served our country. Position Summary The Program and Ministry Director plays a key role in advancing the mission and daily operations of the El Paso Military Resiliency Center (EPMRC). This position is responsible for coordinating and managing veteran-centered programming, strengthening community partnerships, and supporting center operations to ensure consistent impact. The ideal candidate is highly organized, mission-driven, and skilled in program execution—someone who can take ownership of program delivery, track outcomes, build relationships, and help grow participation and engagement across the El Paso veteran community. This role will also help support the spiritual resiliency and development of veterans and military families through faith-based encouragement, mentorship, relationship-building, and the integration of spiritual care within TWJ programming and outreach efforts. Key Responsibilities Program Management & Execution Manage and coordinate veteran-centered programs, activities, and events at the Military Resiliency Center. Ensure all programming aligns with TWJ's mission, values, and faith-based framework. Support program planning including schedules, logistics, materials, volunteer coordination, and participant communication. Maintain a consistent programming calendar and contribute to program improvements. Help integrate spiritual support opportunities, faith-based conversations, and mentorship into programming when appropriate and aligned with participant needs. Serve as spiritual director, chaplain, and pastoral care at the MRC. Community Engagement & Partnerships Develop and maintain strong relationships with local veteran-serving organizations, service providers, faith communities, and community partners with special focus and attention on creating local alliances with churches. Represent TWJ at internal events, meetings, and collaborative initiatives. Identify opportunities for partnerships that expand services and increase veteran participation among local churches in the greater El Paso area. Operations & Reporting Support daily operations of the MRC in coordination with the MRC Director. Assist with tracking program participation, engagement metrics, and outcomes to include oversight and training of our Warrior Connector involvement. Assist with reporting requirements, documentation, and operational planning. Recommend engagement strategies to increase MRC visibility and veteran involvement. Qualifications Must demonstrate consistent pastoral leadership gifts and adhere to TWJ's Statement of Faith. Must be a credentialed, licensed, or ordained faith leader. Experience in ministry, chaplaincy, pastoral care, spiritual mentorship, or faith-based nonprofit leadership preferred. Must be a member of a local church that adheres to TWJ's Statement of Faith and overall mission. Letter of recommendation from pastor will be required. Experience in program management, community engagement, nonprofit operations, or veteran services strongly preferred. Strong communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills. Able to train other individuals to serve as Warrior Connectors and volunteers in personal and professional development related to TWJ's mission. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple programs and priorities to include facilitating workshops and spiritual driven engagements. Ability to work independently while supporting team goals in a fast-paced environment. Strong commitment to the mission and values of The Warrior's Journey.
