Submit your application for the opportunity below: Stroke Program Coordinator Job Summary and Qualifications Will assume 24-hour responsibility for the coordination and direction of the stroke program throughout the Methodist Healthcare System. Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the stroke protocol program. He/she directs, plans, and facilitates all protocols for care of the stroke patient in collaboration with the medical staff, sub-specialists, nursing and medical teams, and ancillary services. Must ensure that the stroke protocol program for MHS is in constant compliance with JCAHO, State, and other regulatory agencies.
What qualifications you will need:
  • Graduate of a school of nursing with a Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum three years of hospital nursing experience in Critical Care or Emergency nursing required.
  • -Must have recent experience and proficiency with computer databases, word processing, and spreadsheet programs. Employee completes initial and ongoing training and competencies as defined by service line, facility and department/unit which are specific to the needs of the patient population served (if applicable).
