To oversee the point of sale, the menu planner and inventory system functionality and ensures it is operating with the guidelines set forth by the United States Department of Agriculture. By extension, the coordinator ensures its uptime during critical business hours and provides online/phone support to our campus teams. The System and Trainer Coordinator is also responsible to provide training to all CN Staff on Mosaic System. She/he is to ensure proper reports are used for end of day closing and end of month reports. Responsible for all required training for the CN Department Staff and Community Eligibility Program monthly and yearly reports (CEP). Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED, Associates Degree Preferred Must maintain required TDA yearly training standards of 10 hours. Bilingual Preferred Education/Certification:
Candidate must have satisfactory outcome of the fingerprinting background check. Non-refundable fee (approximately $50) paid by potential candidate Valid Texas Food Protection Management Certification (candidate hired without certification must obtain certificate within sixty (60) workday Possess valid Texas driver's license Special Knowledge/ Skills Knowledge of School Center, Docushare, Microsoft, Skyward, Ascender Knowledge of specialized software for the Child Nutrition Department. Heartland Mosaic modules or similar systems (Menu Planning, Point of Sale, Free and Reduced Applications and Warehouse Inventory) and Smart Temps Experience in the maintenance of support of multi-user computer systems preferred. Understanding of the National School Lunch Program as it applies to Heartland modules Understanding of mechanical, electronic and computer principles as applied to the repair and Maintenance of computers including equipment specific to Heartland and Smart Temp Wireless network (Wi-Fi) setup and troubleshooting experience Ability to analyze and problem solve Good written and verbal communication Strong customer service. Strong recordkeeping and organizational skills Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel Experience:
3 + years in Computer Information Systems or related field Major Responsibilities and Duties:
General Install, configure, troubleshoot and upgrade all Child Nutrition Systems including software, hardware and data. Perform test and backups of Child Nutrition Systems. Maintains Squeal Server for Heartland Mosaic. Coordinates and performs the import and export of data between disparate systems and the Child Nutrition Systems. Schedule importing of PEIMS data to Heartland Mosaic System for Point of Sale and Community Eligibility Provision Reporting. Maintains and updates department website and Department Documents. Acts as a liaison between Child Nutrition the Technology Department in order to facilitate installation and use of network applications and services. Acts as a liaison between the Child Nutrition department and the campuses as it pertains to their software and hardware needs. Maintain equipment inventory, replacement and maintenance records. Develop training documents, provide training to Child Nutrition Staff, and maintain logs. Develops training documents and provides training to all of Child Nutrition Staff. Is active in professional organizations, which enhance he growth of the individual and supports the District's mission. Conducts oneself in a professional and ethical manner.
