This position supports program operations, participant engagement, administrative tasks, and social media content creation while helping further the mission of Christian's Manor. About Christian's Manor Christian's Manor is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending the cycle of poverty two generations at a time by supporting single-parent families through affordable housing, education, workforce development, and wraparound services. Position Summary The Program Specialist plays an important role in supporting participants, maintaining organized program operations, assisting with administrative responsibilities, and helping share the mission and impact of Christian's Manor through social media and community outreach. This position is ideal for someone who is compassionate, detail-oriented, creative, and passionate about making a difference in the lives of families. ResponsibilitiesProgram & Participant Support Communicate with prospective and current program participants Assist with applications and participant documentation Help coordinate workshops, events, and participant engagement activities Maintain participant records and tracking systems Support outreach efforts and follow-up communication Assist with childcare/activity coordination during workshops and events Administrative Support Answer emails, phone calls, and general inquiries Assist with scheduling, filing, data entry, and office organization Support preparation of reports, forms, and organizational documents Help maintain accurate records and compliance documentation Assist with administrative projects as needed Social Media & Content Creation Create engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms Assist with photos, captions, flyers, announcements, and promotional materials Highlight participant success stories, workshops, events, and community partnerships Support branding and outreach efforts while maintaining a professional online presence Qualifications Strong communication and organizational skills Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced nonprofit environment Creativity and familiarity with social media platforms Experience with Canva, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and/or Smartsheet preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) Experience in nonprofit work, education, administrative support, communications, or social services preferred Schedule & Compensation Part-Time Position 15- 20 hours per week Flexible schedule with occasional evenings or weekends for workshops/events Compensation $15/hour Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: Compassionate and people-centered Organized and proactive Creative and comfortable with social media/content creation Passionate about supporting families and strengthening the community A strong communicator with professionalism and initiative To Apply Please submit: Resume Brief statement of interest Samples of social media or creative work (optional)
