WFM Vision Clinic Program Coordinator Waco, TX Job Details Part-time 20 hours ago Qualifications OSHA (regulatory compliance area) Computer operation Bachelor's degree in social work Achieving HIPAA compliance Workflow management (operations management method) Maintaining patient confidentiality Healthcare Administration Regulatory compliance HIPAA Employment & labor law Mid-level State healthcare regulations Medical scheduling Administrative experience Medical records Bachelor's degree Public Health Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration Bachelor's degree in public health Social Work Managing patient records Care coordination 2 years Clinic management Full Job Description Key Responsibilities Coordinate program activities of the WFM Vision Clinic Coordinate and ensure scheduling of patient appointments Coordinate with clinicians and school staff Manage patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Supervise program workflows and maintain inventory Ensure adherence to organizational policies, Vision Center processes and procedures, and applicable federal and state regulations Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor Compliance Requirements The Program Coordinator must comply with all relevant laws and policies, including HIPAA confidentiality rules, FLSA wage and hour provisions, Texas employment regulations, and OSHA safety standards. WFM will maintain compliance with all applicable employment laws. Confidentiality Strict confidentiality of all patient, student, and organizational information is required during and after employment. Agreement Terms This is a temporary, approximately one-year role. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background checks, verification of work eligibility (Form I-9), and any additional credentialing requirements. Either party may terminate employment at any time. Upon separation, all earned wages will be paid in accordance with the Texas Payday Law. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Health, Health Administration, or related field. Demonstrated knowledge of how social and physical environments influence health. Minimum two years of experience working in a healthcare setting. Position Summary The Program Coordinator will oversee the daily administrative operations of the WFM Vision Clinic under a temporary, one-year agreement. This role ensures smooth clinic workflow, compliance with organizational and regulatory standards, and effective coordination between clinicians, school staff, and patients. Scope of Employment This is a temporary position beginning January 12, 2026, and continuing through December 31, 2026. Employment is at-will, meaning either party may terminate the relationship at any time, with or without cause or notice, consistent with Texas law. The Program Coordinator will work up to 30 hours per week, generally Monday through Thursday, aligned with the Waco ISD (WISD) calendar.
