Day Program Coordinator Midvale, UT 84047 From $54,000 a year - Full-time From $54,000 a year - Full-time Get paid to have fun while making a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities! We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate individuals to help us provide a fun and safe environment for our clients! The Program Coordinator will manage staff at the client's day program. Help clients develop independence in their daily life's, and can take them on activities in the community. We are looking for somebody who cares about people with developmental disabilities; someone who is dependable, accountable, cooperative, proactive, and humble.
Characteristics/skills we prefer:
resourceful, authentic/accountable, irreproachable, leader/learner, reliable, organized, adaptable, detail-oriented, and have some degree of familiarity with the human services, social work or those with developmental disabilities Job requirements: Handle all aspects and tasks related to their respective day program Proactively manage, direct, develop, and support their direct reports Able/willing to work more than 40 hours per week, if need be Find solutions to issues/conundrums that inevitably arise Concise, responsive, and professional communicator Alongside those priorities, the staff enjoys a range of opportunities to assist the individuals we serve. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assisting with hygiene needs (changing briefs, washing hands, bathing, etc) Helping clients with basic living and social skills Assistance with progress toward individuals' personal goals Taking clients to activities in the community Providing rewarding and fun activities at the day program Ensuring the safety and well-being of these individuals in the day program
