Summary
The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is in the famed Deer Valley ski resort and approximately 40 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport. The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is part of a new development, planned to incorporate 17 ski lifts, ±1,600 residential units, 8 hotels with a total of ±1,350 rooms, ±250,000 square feet of conference and retail space, and one of the largest "ski beaches" in the world.
The Grand Hyatt isprised of 436 luxury amodations including 381 guest rooms and 55 residential units with approximately 30,000 square feet of versatile indoor meeting space, lobby level 3-meal restaurant and bar, signature bar, pool/après ski bar and grill, coffee bistro, large outdoor event terrace, pool and 3 whirlpools, kids club, and fitness area.

The Salute to Service Program Ambassador is a cornerstone role within Grand Hyatt Deer Valley's Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR)mitment —serving as the primary representative, storyteller, and advocate for our militarymunity. This position blends high-touch guest service with strategic outreach, program promotion, and partnership development across on-property, off-property, andmunity settings.

Position Summary
The Salute to Service Program Ambassador serves as the primary representative of the program, providing high-touch support to military guests while also driving visibility, outreach, and strategic alignment across departments andmunity partners.
This role will offer supportive rmendations, local insights, and curated guidance to enhance the guest experience. The Ambassador also plays a key role in site tours, off-site engagements, marketing and sales collaboration, board-level participation, and partnership development with MIDA.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for military guests while also championing the program's visibility, credibility, and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Support & Guidance —Serve as a warm, informed resource for military guests, offering tailored rmendations, local insights, and supportive guidance.
- Program Ambassadorship —Represent the Salute to Service program across the resort, atmunity events, military gatherings, and partner activations.
- Experience Curation —Coordinate special recognition moments, amenities, and curated experiences designed specifically for military families.
- Site Tours —Lead property tours for military guests, MIDA representatives, partners, and prospective collaborators; articulate the program's mission, offerings, and impact.
- Marketing & Sales Collaboration —Partner with the marketing and sales teams to promote the program, support content creation, assist with outreach campaigns, and represent the program in promotional opportunities.
- Partnership Development —Strengthen relationships with MIDA, localanizations, veteran-serving groups, andmunity partners; support joint initiatives and cross-property collaboration.
- Board & Committee Participation —Attend relevant board meetings, provide program updates, guest insights, and represent the resort'smitment to the militarymunity.
- Off-Site Representation —Attendmunity events, military functions, and partner meetings as a representative of Grand Hyatt Deer Valley and the Salute to Service program.
- Operational Excellence —Maintain accurate program documentation, guest notes, reporting, andpliance with resort standards and MIDA guidelines.
- Cultural Fluency —Demonstrate deep understanding of military culture,munication norms, and the unique needs of service members and their families.

Qualifications
Military adjacent background strongly preferred (veteran, active duty spouse, or immediate family connection) as it enhances guest connection. All qualified candidates are encouraged to . Experience in hospitality, guest services,munity engagement, or program coordination preferred. Strong interpersonal andmunication skills with the ability to connect authentically and respectfully. Comfortable representing the resort in off-site, public-facing, and board-level settings. High level of professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence. Confidence in leading tours, presenting program information, and engaging with partners.
