Program Objective The Shipping Management Program (SMP) is a 24‑month program designed for recent college graduates who are eager to start a meaningful career in global trade. You'll gain hands‑on experience working alongside industry experts at OOCL, supported by a dedicated mentor throughout the program. This is a unique opportunity to build foundational knowledge of the international shipping and supply chain industry while developing leadership and operational skills. Program Structure Over the course of 24 months, you'll progress in three 8‑month rounds, immersing yourself in three of OOCL's eight core departments, including: Customer Service Operations Sales By the end of the program, you'll have a well‑rounded understanding of the ocean transportation industry and the OOCL Group. Upon completion, you may transition into a department where you demonstrate strong performance and long‑term potential, paving the way for a successful career in global trade/international business.
