2025/26 Shadow Mountain Technician SMTA

Nebo School District is located in south Utah County, services over 35,000 students in grades PreK-12, and employs over 4,300 people.

Our vision is to:

engage students as active participants in school and in the community; empower students to acquire and develop knowledge, skills, and talents; collaborate to promote safety, student involvement and achievement; and prepare students to succeed in school and life. Shadow Mountain Technician position. Must be at least 18 years old to apply. 1 Male position and 1 Female position needed. Will work 6 days and 4 nights per week from May 28 thru July 1. Must enjoy working with youth and be comfortable and outgoing with them, handle stressful situations with good humor, and be punctual and dependable. Must enjoy teamwork and collaboration with other staff. Must be able to work long hours with good physical stamina. Previous youth leadership or camping experience preferred. The position is paid with a $3,600 stipend. Stipend will be split into two payments which will be paid end of June and end of July.

Experience:

Previous youth leadership or camping experience preferred. Outgoing and positive mentor to assist with the teaching and supervising of 5th grade students at the Shadow Mountain Outdoor Education Program. Must have compassion and desire to care for students, Must be able to improvise on short notice Must handle stressful situations with good humor Must be: punctual dependable well organized, outgoing, and comfortable in front of children. Must be able to work with a team and collaborate with colleagues. Assist with food preparation.
