Job Description

As part of a grant funded training program dedicated to job creation and revenue growth for small business owners and entrepreneurs, Salt Lake Community College seeks a qualified individual to serve as Support Services Coordinator for Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses. This position works to insure quality curriculum delivery, classroom coordination, support for staff and faculty as well as student enrollment and in-class activities. Position includes database management, CRM maintenance, enrollment and reporting responsibilities. Curriculum delivery oversight for in classroom technology and facilitation including pre brief and post brief calls. Scheduling panelists, visitors and guests as well as coordinating materials, bios, and scholar maintenance throughout the course.
This position will also:
Obtain and provide internal and external business support services to scholars in the GS10KSB program Facilitate and collaborate with program staff to provide program information, classroom & curriculum support with respect to panels and guests Develop, manage and coordinate internal and external community, public & private partner relationships to assist with recruitment facilitation Coordinate and review scholar application review and acceptance into program Work closely with program manager and staff regarding new cohort setup Possess excellent planning, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Strong ability to develop and maintain relationships with staff, faculty, applicants, scholars, broader program team, and local community partners. High personal and professional ethical standards & a desire to help small businesses. Experience using program/project management principles, practices and processes including CRM and database software and reporting tools. Ability to work with systems, to track information, coordinate content digitally, and manage databases & CRM, and client software systems. Is a self-starter, collaborator, and problem solver, detail oriented. Can work effectively with the program team, external community and program partners. Proven ability to work in a team environment, manage multiple tasks efficiently & effectively . Is a leader, problem solver, effective collaborator, and skillful communicator dedicated to the program outcomes of job creation and revenue generation. Is dedicated to the program outcomes of job creation and revenue generation. Ability to oversee quality assurance measures to ensure program effectiveness. Ability to work a flexible schedule. High personal & professional ethical standards. Ability to manage enrollment and facilitation into the education and training programs. Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people with a variety of abilities and backgrounds, to maintain good working relationships across the College. Ability to work with all groups from a variety of academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, and with community college students, faculty, and staff, including those with disabilities. Associate degree in business or related area. A minimum of one (1) to four (4) years work experience in professional business, business development or related field. Program coordination, curriculum delivery experience and/or administrative functions. Program Management.
