We are seeking a highly qualified Deputy Program Manager to assist in the management of our key NCR program initiatives. This position will also have technical leadership responsibilities to help guide a team in the Arlington, VA area. The Deputy Program Manager will work closely with the Program Manager to apply program management skills to support multiple programs across a portfolio of technical contracts. This Deputy Program Manager candidate will ensure project goals and tasks are completed on time and on budget. Responsibilities include providing program briefing and participating in working groups at the direction and in coordination of senior leaders. This position requires a motivated self-starter who rises to unique challenges with limited supervision.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in engineering and computer science Two (2) years of relevant management or leadership experience Experience with managing small to medium-sized projects or teams Strong organizational and project management skills Solid understanding of the program life cycle Experience with Microsoft Project or similar project management tool (PMP preferred) Articulate, excellent presentation skills US Citizen with active SECRET Clearance Other assigned tasks as required
Work Environment:
100% onsite at government facility. Must be local to the DC Metro Area with reliable transportation Must comply with all security and access protocols
