PROGRAM MANAGER
(NAUT): Bowhead seeks a Program Manager to join our team in supporting the Nautical contract located in Alexandria, VA. The Program Manager will provide management, administrative, financial, technical, and business transformation support services. Responsibilities Establish and maintain an adequate and accurate cost accounting system. Establish and maintain procedures for effective data management. Manage all hardware and software configurations. Establish and control program product baseline. Establish and maintain a Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) program. Interview, hire and on-board personnel, providing team supervision, coaching/mentoring to ensure technical efforts proceed within budget/schedule and meet customer requirements. Provide the management of vendors and subcontractors. Provide the technical management team working at the client's site. Advise on the distribution of work among positions and organizations. Advise and evaluate the effectiveness of operations in meeting goals. Perform cost benefit or economic evaluations of current or projected programs. Advise on potential benefits/uses of automation to improve efficiency. Evaluate and advise on organization, methods, and procedures for providing support. Research and investigate new or improved business and management practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field. Ten (10+) years of program management experience. Current PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification. Knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts. Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team. Physical Demands Must be able to lift 25 pounds on occasion. Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged period amounts of time. Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
