  • Full-time Job Overview The Community Standards Coordinator supports the administration and enforcement of the Association's governing documents and architectural guidelines.
This role assists with covenants applications, compliance tracking, resident communication, inspections, and committee support. The position works closely with the Community Manager and Covenants Committee to ensure fair, consistent, and timely processing of all community standards matters. Key Responsibilities Covenants & Architectural Review Support Receive and log architectural modification applications. Review submissions for completeness and request missing documentation. Prepare organized application packets for Covenants Committee review. Coordinate and distribute meeting materials to committee members. Attend and assist with Covenants Committee meetings. Draft decision letters and ensure timely distribution to residents. Maintain digital and physical records of all applications and decisions. Track deadlines, approvals, and follow-up requirements. Compliance Administration Conduct routine community inspections. Document violations in accordance with Association policy. Prepare courtesy notices and violation letters for review. Monitor compliance timelines and follow-up actions. Maintain compliance tracking spreadsheets and reporting metrics. Resident Communication Respond to resident inquiries regarding covenants and guidelines. Provide clear guidance on architectural standards and processes. Maintain a professional, diplomatic, and solution-oriented approach. Administrative Support Scan and file documentation related to covenants and compliance. Post committee meeting minutes to the community website. Support preparation of board packets related to covenants matters. Provide general administrative support as needed. Qualifications Strong organizational and documentation skills. Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously. Excellent written communication skills. Professional demeanor when addressing sensitive compliance matters. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and community management software. Experience in HOA/condo management preferred. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Ability to perform regular on-site inspections throughout the community, which includes extended periods of walking, standing, and navigating various outdoor conditions. Ability to have conversations with homeowners in a professional manner regarding violations Ability to grasp the design guidelines and association documents Must have the ability to travel across the community on foot to conduct site visits and inspections. Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed to support community operations, including occasional evenings or weekends.
