Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Program Manager (PM) to join our team! In this role you will get to lead and manage all aspects of Army program execution, ensuring successful delivery of contract requirements.
What You'll Be Doing:
Serve as the primary point of contact for the client and all program stakeholders. Oversee the execution of all contract requirements and deliverables. Lead and manage project teams to ensure timely and successful completion of project milestones. Ensure compliance with Army regulations and contractual obligations. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and performance metrics. Provide regular status updates and reports to both internal and external stakeholders. Manage risk and resolve issues to maintain project performance and client satisfaction.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Active Secret security clearance or higher Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field 15+ years of related work experience, including previous project management experience on similar or related projects Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Program Manager (PM) Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing Army programs or contracts Level
III DAWIA
Certification in Program Management or PMP Certification Demonstrated ability to plan, direct, supervise, and control the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of assigned projects Experience developing and managing project schedules, budgets, and performance metrics Effective leadership skills with the ability to perform in a management capacity Excellent written and oral communication skills Thorough knowledge of industry practices, regulations, and current technology Ability to meet Parsons' project management certification requirements
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Professional registration (e.g., PE, PMP) is preferred Experience with the integration of engineering/technical, procurement, and construction activities Experience negotiating changes to scope of work with clients and subcontractors Familiarity with Army regulations and DoD contracting environments Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies Strong problem-solving and risk management abilities Experience marketing and securing additional work with clients Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience providing input on performance reviews and development plans for team members
