MANTECH is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Program Director/Deputy Program Manager - Governance to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech. The Program Director will be based in Herndon, VA with limited travel to other locations in northern Virginia. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: The Deputy Program Manager (Governance) is a Program Director (PD) reporting to the Executive Director/Program Manager. The DPM Governance supports the management and execution of a large technical IT Service Management (ITSM) contract to ensure requirements outlined in the Statement of Work (SoW) are met as directed. The DPM Governance works jointly with the DPM Operations in initiating, planning, and executing activities for delivering products and services to satisfy program and customer specified requirements within the negotiated price and schedule. The DPM Governance is responsible for the leadership, management, and effectiveness of the Program Management Office (PMO) to include reporting, staffing, subcontract management, award fee plan administration, financial planning and risk management, monitoring and improvement of Key Performance Indicators (KPI). This role will lead Service Delivery Managers to ensure and enable the entire Program to execute project and program activities with established processes that meet industry standards for consistent and quality performance. Supervisory responsibilities for interviewing, hiring, career enablement, timecards, performance counseling, compensation planning, and requisition creation.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher with 8+ years' experience directly related to IT Service Management and Delivery in PM roles, with Projects values at a minimum of $25M annually. Demonstrated financial acumen on client systems and in managing projects/programs. Experience in subcontract management. Demonstrated customer service and goal-oriented behaviors. Demonstrated experience presenting briefings to senior customer management and customer stakeholders. Ability to work under tight deadlines with changing priorities. Demonstrated experience developing and measuring key performance indicators Strong analytic ability to evaluate programmatic data, resolve inconsistencies and propose solutions. Demonstrated experience leading performance-based and outcome-based projects/programs and staff. Demonstrated experience successfully managing disparately located personnel. Demonstrated experience in a leadership role with both responsibility for managing personnel, tasks, and interaction with all levels of customers. Proven ability to build and maintain constructive relationships among customers, stakeholders, technical teams, and contractors across the customer base. Familiarity with IC and/or DoD IT architectures. Experience with IC and/or DoD acquisition policies and processes. Experience serving as a program or project manager leading and supervising multi-disciplinary staff of various levels. Bachelor's degree, or higher with 5+ years of recent IT-related experience.Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated leadership experience in an IT Service Management (ITSM) environment. Experience with ServiceNow and its application in program reporting and analytics. Demonstrated experience managing complex CPAF projects/programs. Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, especially Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.Clearance Requirements:
An active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets and office machinery. Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
