Deploys with ship during underway periods. Co-manages the ship's intramural and varsity level sports program with the Aflo Fitness Specialist "Fit Boss." Administers a ticket rebe and tickets sales program. Operes the ship's recreion equipment checkout program, gear locker. Organizes and facilites ship's recreion social activities. Instructs recreion leisure skills courses. Advertises and promotes ship's aflo recreion program activities utilizing various resources. Assists in planning and organizing ship's Command level programs, which could include family members, such as a summer picnic or holiday party. Coordines port s to include ghering informion on ports of calls using the Logistics Requisition (LOGREG) or foreign area clearance guides; conducting port briefs to all shipboard personnel via site TV, PowerPoint presentions or in person; planning and implementing trips and tours ashore; and traveling with advanced detachment (Advance Det), when approved. Assists with drafting of financial plan/annual budget and executing of same. Assist with keeping the Commanding Officer informed on the stus of the aflo recreion fund and program. Provides guidance in the unauthorized expenditure of ship's Non-Appropried Fund (NAF) aflo recreion funds. Assists in processing financial reports, summaries, da collection and filing of same. Instructs and motives military personnel assigned to the shipboard recreion division on proper opering procedures and policies; conducts the same for volunteers supporting the aflo recreion program. Reviews and inspects work assignments given to assigned military or volunteers within the recreion division. Directs designed military personnel and volunteers with tasks in support of the aflo recreion program, when authorized. Communices through various forms to include but not limited to; memorandums, executive summaries, slide presentions, briefs and e-mails to effectively correspond with CNIC HQ, ship's command and crew. OR an equivalent combinion of three or more years of educion from an accredited college or university towards a major in Recreion or reled field of study, or Physical Educion AND two or more years of progressively responsible experience developing comprehensive Recreion and Leisure programs. OR least three or more years of progressively responsible experience developing comprehensive Recreion and Leisure programs. A qualified candide possesses the following: Knowledge of the principles of recreion. Knowledge of budgeting, internal controls, cash management, fiscal oversight, and inventory systems. Skill in planning and carrying out an enhanced program in the recreion specialty area which meets the needs of the participing eligible prons. Skill in common computer applicions such as Microsoft Office or alike program applicions to include word files, e-mails, spreadsheets, presentions, calendars and other informion technology resources. Skill in marketing and promoting sports, recreion and leisure activities. Ability to deploy with ship during underway periods. Ability to conduct recreion programs and leisure activities. Ability to direct sporting activities. Ability to develop and effectively deliver presentions and/or training. Ability to communice effectively both orally and in writing.
