Join our team as a Food Hub Site Coordinator and become part of a mission-driven organization dedicated to creating equitable access to nutritious food and essential community resources. The Foodbank operates four innovative food hubs—three in Norfolk and one in Franklin, Virginia—strategically located in communities disproportionately impacted by food insecurity and limited access to healthy food. These hubs are more than food distribution sites; they are community-centered resource hubs designed to address the root causes of hunger through a holistic approach. At our food hubs, neighbors receive free access to fresh produce, lean proteins, dairy products, and shelf-stable foods, while also connecting with critical support services including: Healthcare and wellness resources Financial literacy programs Nutrition education Workforce development opportunities SNAP application assistance Referrals to additional community services As a Food Hub Site Coordinator , you will report to the Southside Hub Manager and serve as an essential member of the Neighbor Experience Team (NEXT) . In this role, you will help ensure the smooth daily operation of our food hubs, working directly with neighbors, community partners, volunteers, and staff to create a welcoming and impactful experience for every visitor. This position offers a unique opportunity to combine operational excellence with community engagement while helping advance the Foodbank's mission of ending hunger and improving lives throughout our region. Join us in creating pathways to food security, health, and opportunity—one neighbor at a time. Want to learn more? Key Responsibilities of this role are: Assist with daily tasks at Foodbank hubs. This includes but is not limited to oversite volunteers when needed, conducting quality assurance of all inventories, stocking pantry shelves, ordering of Produce and shelf-stable items. Utilize FSEVA Client Insight platform, Service Insights for client intake . Coordinate and assist with Amazon Community Delivery Program at Jordan Newby. Provide information and referral help to individuals and families based upon a comprehensive understanding of food and other available community resources. Commit to and understand the FSEVA's mission. This includes active participation in sharing the mission, vision, and values of the organization, internally and externally, creating a culture of active philanthropy for and through all staff. Complete other tasks assigned or requested by the direct supervisor, department head, or Senior Management.
