General Description:
The purpose of this class within the organization is to provide customer service, assist with administrative projects and events. This class works under close supervision according to set procedures.Duties and Responsibilities:

The position focuses on workforce readiness, professional development, administrative support, and exposure to local government operations, with full program participation required and clearly defined attendance, conduct, and learning expectation s.College Intern:
T his is a leadership support role that assists with program coordination, intern support, and administrative operations. The position is designed for undergraduate students who demonstrate maturity, professionalism, and leadership potential, and includes supporting orientations, attendance tracking, intern engagement, and communication between interns, supervisors, and program staff. Elevated conduct and leadership expectations apply due to the nature of the role.Essential Functions:
Provides administrative support and customer service. Prepares, writes, proofs, edits, copies, and scans documents. Supports with coordinating and arranging meetings and special events as assigned. Conducts activities required to prepare, submit, and manage departmental projects and initiatives. Answers telephones, directs calls, takes messages, and files paperwork. Researches problems, discrepancies, and responds to routine and non-routine matters relative to programs and services of the department.Additional Duties :
Provides information and documents to authorized persons. Performs related work as assigned.Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Must be in high school and at least 14 years of age or a college student currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States, and if under the age of 16 must obtain consent of a parent or legal guardian. Applicants must be available for the entire duration of the summer internship program. Must haveGPA 2.75
