Job Description General Summary:
Our client is a global leader in engineering, procurement, construction, and project management services supporting government and commercial clients worldwide. Within its government solutions portfolio, our client delivers mission-critical support in complex and austere environments, enabling U.S. Government operations across defense, intelligence, and contingency missions. The Program Manager supports a high-visibility, expeditionary program delivering life support, logistics, operations, and maintenance services across multiple OCONUS locations. The program office is based in Northern Virginia, with periodic travel to operational sites and U.S. Government installations.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the Program Manager with full accountability for program execution across multiple austere, international locations Lead and oversee integrated service delivery, including life support, logistics, operations, and maintenance functions Manage large-scale operations such as dining facilities, power generation, motor pool, billeting, facilities maintenance, and supply chain operations (food, fuel, and materials) Ensure program performance meets contractual requirements, mission objectives, and client expectations across geographically dispersed sites Direct and develop cross-functional teams, ensuring strong personnel management, communication, and operational alignment Interface directly with senior U.S. Government stakeholders, providing program updates, issue resolution, and strategic guidance Oversee compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards in high-risk and complex environments Support and manage potential task order expansion, including small construction and infrastructure projects Drive continuous improvement, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency across all program elements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field from an accredited university (
Alternate:
Bachelor's in another field with 10+ years of management experience and 6+ years in engineering or business-related functions) 10+ years of experience in management roles of similar scope, scale, and complexity within government or expeditionary programs Prior experience supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) or Intelligence Community (IC) Active TS- SCI Full Scope Poly (FSP) Security Clearance required Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required Demonstrated experience managing large, complex operations in austere or OCONUS environments Proven personnel leadership experience with strong oral and written communication skills Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure, mission-critical environments Based in the Washington Metropolitan Area (WMA), work onsite 5 days per week, with willingness to travel as needed
