Job Description

Position Summary The DSP Lead/Coordinator supports company operations by ensuring quality service delivery, effective staffing, regulatory compliance, and staff development within our DBHDS Programs. The DSP Lead/Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining program excellence, supporting employee performance, and promoting positive outcomes for individuals served.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Essential Duties and Responsibilities Staff Leadership and Supervision Assist with recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training Direct Support Professionals. Provide coaching, mentoring, and ongoing support to staff. Conduct staff competency assessments and monitor performance. Complete annual employee evaluations. Review staff documentation and service notes to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance. Ensure staff maintain required training, certifications, and credentialing requirements. Assist in resolving staff concerns and implementing corrective actions when necessary. Program Coordination and Operations Coordinate daily operations within the Day Support Program. Work onsite in the Day Support building and provide direct support as needed. Monitor staff schedules and weekly hours to ensure appropriate coverage and budget compliance. Assist with managing monthly budgets for Day Support and Community Coaching/Community Engagement services. Safely operate a company van and transport individuals to community activities and appointments as needed. Individual Services and Support Planning Complete assessments for individuals receiving services. Collaborate with individuals, families, and support teams to develop, update, and maintain Individual Support Plans (ISPs). Ensure timely completion of service plans, documentation, and quarterly progress reviews. Provide direct support to individuals while promoting choice, independence, community involvement, and personal growth. Quality Assurance and Compliance Monitor program documentation and staff service notes for compliance with state, agency, and funding-source requirements. Ensure services are delivered in accordance with approved plans and organizational standards. Support audits, inspections, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives. Community Outreach and Marketing Assist with outreach and marketing efforts to promote program services. Develop positive relationships with community partners, referral sources, and stakeholders. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field preferred. Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities or in a human services setting. Prior leadership, supervisory, or lead DSP experience preferred. Knowledge of ISP development, assessments, and service planning. Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. Ability to safely operate a company van. Proficiency in documentation, recordkeeping, and basic computer applications.
Pay:
$19.00 per hour
