Job Description

We are recruiting part-time regional Energy Educators to deliver in-class student workshops to schools in the following areas: Grafton and Caroll counties of NHnorthwest VT (including Chittenden, Franklin and Grand Isle counties) along the border of our two states (Orange/Windsor/Windham counties of VT, Sullivan/Cheshire counties of NH)Position starts September 1, 2026.
The Energy Educator will:
Teach in K-12 classrooms throughout their region, delivering our hands-on energy and climate science workshops.

Help introduce teachers and community groups to VEEP/NHEEPs offerings, including contacting teachers and school administrators to develop opportunities for workshops in schools, presenting at school faculty meetings, and developing relationships with school staff throughout the region.

Work with the
VEEP/NHEEP
team to keep lessons, curricula and equipment current and up-to-date.

Support other
VEEP/NHEEP
programs, including teacher professional development and Youth Climate Leaders Academy.
