Youth Program Facilitator - Environmental Arts & Marine Science Bainbridge Youth Services - 3.5 Bainbridge Island, WA Job Details Temporary | Part-time | Internship $19 - $21 an hour 16 hours ago Qualifications Teamwork Environmental education Child safety supervision Cleaning Environmental interpretation Marine habitats Full Job Description Youth Program Facilitator - Environmental Arts & Marine Science Bainbridge Youth Services (BYS) is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic individual to help facilitate a youth environmental arts program focused on marine ecology, sustainability, and community engagement. Youth participants will collaborate with scientists, environmental educators, and mural artists through hands-on workshops, beach-based learning, creative projects, and community activities.
Position Details:
Approximately 2-3 hours per week Some local field trips and outdoor activities included Flexible summer schedule
Responsibilities Include:
Supervising and supporting youth during activities and workshops Assisting with beach visits, environmental learning, and art projects Helping create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment Supporting program setup, organization, and clean-up Encouraging positive participation, teamwork, and respectful behavior
Qualifications:
Must be at least 20 years old Must successfully pass a background check Passion for science, marine ecosystems, and environmental issues encouraged Interest in youth development and education Reliable, professional, and comfortable working with youth in group settings This is a meaningful opportunity to support youth while exploring environmental awareness, creativity, and positive community impact.
Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
