We're currently searching for an experienced business program manager to join our ranks and continue this tradition. The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and proven ability to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives. As a natural leader, this person should have strong talent for project coordination and delegation. Ultimately, the business program manager should be motivated by a desire to optimize productivity and nature program success from inception to completion. Objectives of this role Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organization objectives Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality and performance Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached Manage budget and customer quoting process for maximum productivity․ Proactively explore new business opportunities
Key Responsibilities:
Project & Program Management:
Work closely with project sponsors, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plans, budget, and timing for new initiatives.
Budget & ROI:
Develop and manage project budgets; ensure accountability for delivering against established business goals and objectives while managing teams for optimal return on investment (ROI).
Client & Contract Management:
Manage multiple, sophisticated client RFP/RFQ processes. Oversee contract negotiations and manage fee changes incurred by design alterations.
Business Development:
Reach out to new customers and explore new business opportunities to drive company growth.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
Coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives. Identify key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors.
Risk Mitigation:
Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects. Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce comprehensive program reports for managers and stakeholders.
Cost & Materials Strategy:
Compile cost and price analyses, prepare quotations, and formulate business plans for new product introductions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience:
5+ years of experience in Global Supply Chain management, sales, project management, product development, or business communications (preferably involving program management activities).
RFP/RFQ & BOM
Mastery:
Strong working knowledge of BOM (Bill of Materials) structure, cost and price analysis, and RFP/RFQ process management. Experience in proposal/RFQ writing and business contract review.
Leadership:
Exceptional skills in coordination, facilitation, leadership, project management, budgeting, and time/people management.
Collaboration:
Proven experience effectively managing cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration or Engineering.
Technical Knowledge:
Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, specifically for consumer electronics products.
Language:
Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (oral and written) is highly preferred.
