Job Description

Description Amazon is seeking a Senior Program Manager to drive strategic initiatives and complex, cross-functional programs that directly impact our customers and business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering results in ambiguous environments, influencing without authority, and driving operational excellence at scale. As a
Senior Program Manager:
  • You will own end-to-end program delivery, working with senior leaders across multiple organizations to define strategy, set goals, and execute against ambitious timelines.
  • You will be responsible for identifying and solving complex problems, driving process improvements, and ensuring programs deliver measurable business impact. Key job responsibilities Key job responsibilities
  • Own and drive complex, cross-functional programs from conception through delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs
  • Partner with senior leadership across multiple organizations to define program strategy, goals, and success metrics
  • Develop and maintain detailed program plans, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Identify and resolve blockers, escalating appropriately to ensure program momentum
  • Drive operational excellence through process improvement, automation, and standardization
  • Communicate program status, risks, and decisions to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional partners, influencing without direct authority
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program success and business impact
  • Mentor and develop junior program managers, raising the bar for program management excellence

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
  • Knowledge of general AI tools

Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
