Job Summary The Program Lead is directly accountable to the Program Supervisor and Program Director for the coordination and general functioning of the Crisis Center. The Program Lead is expected to work closely with the Program Supervisor and Director and take direction from them. The Program Lead may participate in other related activities connected to the administration of the Center such as speaking engagements, conference presentations, and membership on committees. Duties and Responsibility Demonstrate Family Services' Core Values and Behaviors in the work you do while fulfilling Family Services mission to Protect, Heal and Care. Responsibilities will be performed within our policies, procedures and guidelines. Supervisory Practice Train staff via daily interactions. Mentorship of Crisis Center staff and interns. Working closely with the Program Supervisor and Program Director, the Program Lead will provide in-service training, policy interpretation and administrative support to Crisis Counselors. Ensure the daily completion of shift duties and documentation requirements through direct staff supervision. Participate in the schedule of provision of 24/7 on-call support for Crisis Center staff. Practice To provide direct professional Crisis Counseling services. To provide co-therapy with other Crisis staff as time permits. Special assignments will be made specific to each Program Lead, but may include any of the following: Maintain correspondence between groups and organizations seeking information on the program. Work closely with the Program Director to maintain and update the information and referral system. Ensure timely clinical review of all clinical reports to ensure compliance with DHS 34 requirements. Ensure timely response to requests for information made by clients or other organizations serving Crisis Center clients. Conduct public education on the Crisis Center and the agency by explaining services through public service announcements, public speaking, etc. Represent the Program and the Agency by attending meetings and serving on various committees as assigned by the Program Supervisor or Director. Participation in the screening, interviewing, and hiring process for Crisis Counseling staff and interns. Other administrative duties specifically assigned by Program Supervisor or Director.

Experience in crisis intervention Knowledge of community organizations and administration. Clarity of expression in presenting both written and verbal material. Moderate degree of knowledge of program planning and development. Knowledge of and some experience in supervising methods. Ability to assume authority in a constructive manner. Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. Valid Wisconsin Driver's License with reliable personal vehicle.
