  • Full-time Company Description NAMI Racine County, an affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is dedicated to creating a compassionate community where individuals affected by mental illness can lead healthy and fulfilling lives.
We offer critical mental health advocacy, education, support, and public awareness initiatives. Our work is aimed at eliminating stigma and improving the quality of life for those impacted by mental health challenges. Through a variety of programs and services, we strive to empower individuals and families in our community. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Racine, Wisconsin for an Operations & Program Specialist. The role involves overseeing daily operations and program initiatives for a local, non-profit to ensure smooth and efficient functioning. Working closely with the Executive Director this role bridges internal operations with direct program support to ensure the organization functions smoothly and delivers meaningful services to individuals and families affected by mental illness. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and a passion for supporting mental health education, advocacy and community engagement. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in nonprofit management, business administration, social services, public health, or related field 2-4 years of experience in nonprofit operations, program coordination, or administrative support Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Ability to work flexible hours, including evening and weekend hours as needed for programs and events Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Commitment to the mission and values of NAMI Racine County Preferred Qualifications CRM and accounting experience (Bloomerang and Quickbooks) Volunteer coordination experience Knowledge of grant reporting processes and data tracking Experience supporting mental health or community
