Fall Session:
September to
December Winter/Spring Session:
January to April (includes an end-of-season showcase in late April)
Summer Session:
June to August Classes held Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:00 PM to 8:45 PM at Nathan Hale High School.
Summary:
The Youth Gymnastics Program Coordinator is a part-time role responsible for the planning, management, and evaluation of the Trixters Gymnastics Program. This individual will oversee program operations and staff to ensure a safe, fun, and skill-focused experience for participants. The position reports directly to the
Recreation Program Manager Qualifications:
Experience in gymnastics as a participant, coach, instructor, or program coordinator. Strong organizational and leadership abilities to plan and execute programs effectively. Enthusiasm for creating an inclusive, high-quality experience for gymnasts and coaches.
Preferred:
USA Gymnastics Safety Certification.
Responsibilities:
Recruit, hire, supervise, and evaluate program staff. Conduct skill assessments to group gymnasts by level and assign coaches accordingly (1:10 ratio). Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for each session. Ensure proper spotting techniques are utilized, and gymnasts work at suitable skill levels. Supervise practices, providing guidance to staff and participants. Communicate program updates and expectations with parents. Assist with equipment organization, setup, and cleanup. Coordinate the end-of-season showcase, including: Theme selection, Music approval and editing, Rehearsals and volunteer recruitement. Monitor program enrollment and effectiveness, providing feedback for improvement.
