JOB SUMMARY
Cooperates with county director and principal to provide curriculum and instructional leadership for the Practical Nursing Program
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains Council on Occupational Education Accreditation; Reviews and evaluates West Virginia LPN Board reviews and evaluations; Reviews and updates LPN curriculum; Maintains and schedules clinical sites; Maintains program and clinical calendar; Evaluates and documents either individually or in collaboration with the administrator, at least every six months, a new instructor's performance in terms of personal and professional achievement; Evaluates and documents a new instructor's performance in the clinical area; and Performs other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor(s).
QUALIFICATIONS
Possession of leadership skills with ability to relate well to other members of the department/team and county administrators; and Knowledge of content area research trends and issues The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non-prescribed drugs while in the workplace. Alcohol and controlled substance which affects employee productivity, safety or judgment in the workplace will not be tolerated.
