Job Description

Job Overview Summary/objective:
To provide resources and support for all residents in the Phase II program, which will include assisting clients in finding employment, housing, family reunification and addressing any outstanding issues that may impede recovery.
Essential functions:

  • Provide support to all Phases of the Recovery Point Program to ensure the integrity of the Recovery Point model
  • Formulate a weekly training procedure for all peer mentors, ensuring they are properly trained and prepared to facilitate recovery dynamics classes and have a working knowledge of the peer mentor's office.
  • Manage the peer mentors and their office to ensure they are properly trained and following the program model.
  • Oversee and track all program fees for Phase II transitional house and enter into FYIDB software financial tab.
  • Ensure Phase II transitional house is clean, safe, and maintains a recovery atmosphere
  • Complete daily rounds and ensure each shift is completing hourly rounds at house and peer mentor rooms/dorms
  • Conduct all alumni surveys in FYIDB system and keep them updated per schedule and report any issues to Program Director and Intake Manager
  • Keep FYIDB updated with transfers, discharge, and completed.
  • Monitor client meetings; facilitate group meetings, complete accurate client charts
  • Teach / assist with Life Skills and Recovery Dynamics classes
  • Facilitate Phase II community and Phase I community when needed
  • Maintain good community and agency relations for the purpose of assisting residents with employment and housing needs.
  • Oversee Chess app enter and remove residents as needed
  • Adhere to all WV Alliance of recovery Residences (WVARR) standards
  • Other duties as assigned
Education/Qualifications:
High school diploma or G.E.D. is required with one year work experience in addictions or related field. Should have a minimum of two years of continuous sobriety, if in recovery, and should be an in-compliance alumnus of Recovery Point or Healing Place. Valid drivers license and vehicle required.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Must be knowledgeable of the Recovery Point recovery model and follow established policies, possess basic computer skills, and have effective communication skills. The ability to speak in public is a plus. Must have the ability to communicate with others in a warm and helpful manner while simultaneously building credibility and rapport. Must be able to adapt to change, delays, unexpected events, and possess conflict resolution skills. Must have the ability to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
Work Environment:
Work is primarily performed in an office setting in a moderately quiet work environment.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk and hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, crawl, reach, and stretch. The employee is occasionally required to move around the office. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. May occasionally be required to lift up to 20 lbs. Pay:
$15.00 per hour
