Technical Proficiency Full Job Description Position Description:
Exempt | Project Services Division | 8-20 Years Experience What You'll Do Advanced Project Leadership Manage medium to high complexity projects from initiation through closeout, determining planning, scheduling, and coordination strategies. Maintain single-point accountability for project success and client satisfaction. Team Direction & Development Direct project staff with recommendations for selection, training, and performance monitoring. Lead multi-discipline teams to achieve safety, cost, quality, schedule, and technical objectives. Strategic Project Excellence Coordinate complex resource planning, cost estimating, and scheduling functions. Implement change management processes while maintaining adherence to client policies and quality standards.
What You Bring Must-Have Qualifications Education:
B.S. in
Engineering or Construction Management Experience:
8-20 years in Heavy Industries (Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Utilities)
Project Management:
8-20 years of proven project management experience
Track Record:
Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent projects
Certifications:
PMP Certification preferred Essential Requirements Working knowledge of Stage-Gate Project Execution FEL development and estimating experience preferred Advanced proficiency with Microsoft applications and project management tools Proven ability to achieve all project objectives consistently Excellent communication and leadership skills What We Offer Leadership Authority Take full responsibility for complex projects while directing and developing project teams. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Able to sit/stand, type, and perform computer work for long periods of time. Frequent use of hands/fingers for computer entry and answering calls. Able to perform occasional bending, lifting, and reaching. Must be able to lift 15 lbs if necessary. Visual acuity sufficient for reading documents, computer screens, and technical materials. Ability to communicate effectively verbally in-person, by phone, and via video conferencing. Hearing ability adequate for meetings, presentations, and collaboration. Ability to concentrate and maintain attention for extended periods while managing multiple priorities. Ability to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends as business needs require. Able to travel to job sites (local and/or remote) as project needs require. Able to work in heavy industrial environments while wearing required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, fire-retardant clothing, gloves, etc.). Able to climb ladders, stairs, and work on elevated surfaces. Able to walk on uneven terrain and surfaces. May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and industrial environments during site visits.
