Medix is currently seeking an Enterprise Project Manager for a contract to hire opportunities with one of our top Healthcare clients in Birmingham. As an Enterprise Project Manager, you will be joining a rapidly growing PMO. responsible for planning, overseeing, and tracking / reporting on a number of Enterprise IT Projects. The types of projects will range from core IT infrastructure and telecommunications upgrades to managing the implementation and integration of 3rd party Clinical Applications We are seeking a versatile, experienced individual - PMP Certification is a plus, not required - but must come with at least 5 years of proven large-scale IT Project Management experience.RESPONSIBILITIES
Multi-Project Leadership:
Concurrently manage 3-4 medium-to-large scale projects through the full lifecycle, from intake and iterative planning to successful closure.Infrastructure & Clinical Integration:
Lead diverse initiatives such as the integration of clinical applications with Epic EHR, Distributed Antenna System (DAS) cellular upgrades, and other IT Infrastructure related projects.Stakeholder & Vendor Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for high-level stakeholders (Directors/CFO) and external vendors, ensuring clear communication of priorities, milestones, and budget variances.Schedule & Risk Mitigation:
Build and maintain detailed project schedules, identify critical paths, and proactively manage risks and issues to prevent project drift.Methodology Execution:
Working within both Waterfall methods for large-scale deployments, and Agile/Scrum for internal team sprints and software-related tasks.Tool Utilization:
Maintain project documentation and tracking using Azure DevOps (ADO), MS Project, and Point, while providing input on the adoption of new productivity platformsREQUIRED SKILLS
5+ years of IT Project Management in an enterprise environment Healthcare Industry experience is a strong plus, but not required Must have prior experience managing various technical projects involving IT Infrastructure, telecommunications/networking, hardware, and application integration Candidates must be local to Birmingham, AL, and able to work on-site 4 days per week.Similar remote jobs
