Position Description:
Seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects, including HVAC and plumbing systems, from inception to completion. This role involves overseeing project teams, managing subcontractors and vendors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You'll be responsible for project planning, execution, financial management, and maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial and federal construction, with the ability to interpret complex construction documents and specifications. Top Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Building Science, or related field (prefer candidates from Auburn or UAB). 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in commercial construction project management. Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and federal government projects is highly sought after. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, lead teams, and negotiate contracts.
