Job Description

1671 - Project Manager Sigma Defense Systems medical insurance, vision insurance, paid time off, 401(k) United States, Alabama, Huntsville May 26, 2026 Sigma Defense is seeking a Project Manager to run multiple DoD projects related to electronic warfare simultaneously. The hired candidate will work with a team of mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and software engineers to deliver products in a rapid acquisition environment. Timelines will be tight, so proper planning and execution are critical to our success. Some travel will be required to perform site visits and acceptance tests.

Requirements 3+ years of relevant Project Manager experience. PMP Certification is required. Experience in DoD contracting and rapid acquisition timelines is preferred. Attentive, organized, outgoing, and good time management skills are preferred. Capable of thriving both independently and as a collaborative team player. Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Must be a U.S. citizen.
Personnel Clearance Level:
Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active TS/SCI security clearance. Clearance may be sponsored for the right candidate.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an unspecified field of study. Essential Job Responsibilities (not all-inclusive): Prepare monthly reports to ensure adequate funding, budget, schedule, and contract compliance. Prepare and support the creation of documents for contract deliverables. Prepare and assist in preparation of status reports on projects. Engage with primary Government customers and the COR to fulfill requirements and identify appropriate resources. Ensure adequate resourcing to support all test and field events before system deliveries, facilitating a seamless transition for the deployed users. Manage the diverse challenges related to the development of complex systems, as well as the coordination and execution of design projects.
Salary Range:
$90,000 - $110,000 annually.
