Huntsville, AL About the Role A growing residential construction organization is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Site Superintendent to lead a large-scale Build-to-Rent (BTR) townhome community project in the Huntsville, Alabama area. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day field operations, maintaining construction schedules, ensuring quality control, and driving project completion safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong production housing experience, expertise in multi-family residential construction, and the ability to manage high-volume builds while maintaining safety and quality standards. Project Details 172-unit Build-to-Rent (BTR) townhome community Two-story residential construction project Extensive shaft wall construction and fire separation requirements Key Responsibilities Manage daily construction operations from site development through project completion Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, schedules, and on-site activities Ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality standards Oversee shaft wall assembly and fire separation compliance Utilize BuildPro or similar scheduling software to track project milestones Maintain OSHA-compliant job site safety standards Conduct site inspections and ensure workmanship quality Collaborate with project teams, field personnel, and stakeholders Resolve construction issues proactively and maintain project efficiency Support successful project turnover and final delivery Required Qualifications Experience managing large-scale residential or multi-family construction projects Strong background in production housing or Build-to-Rent (BTR) communities Experience with shaft wall construction and fire separation assemblies Proficiency with BuildPro or similar construction management software Strong understanding of construction scheduling and field operations Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and compliance practices Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and project deadlines Preferred Qualifications Experience with residential fire sprinkler systems Multi-family or townhome construction experience Strong production-oriented construction management background Experience delivering high-volume residential projects
