  • Full-time, Contract Job Summary The Project Manager is responsible for the full lifecycle management of data center, fiber, and network infrastructure projects.
This role provides comprehensive oversight of assigned projects to ensure alignment with safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance standards. The Project Manager leads planning, execution, budgeting, change management, subcontractor coordination, and project closeout activities. This position requires strong leadership, financial ownership, proactive communication, and the ability to manage fast-paced, large-scale construction or hyperscale environments while maintaining positive client relationships and cross-functional alignment. Job Responsibilities Manage the full project lifecycle, including presales support, planning, execution, delivery, closeout, and post-installation activities. Maintain full financial ownership of assigned projects, including budget tracking, forecasting, margin protection, and cost control. Monitor project milestones, schedules, risks, and budgets, implementing corrective actions as needed. Lead schedule management activities using P6 or equivalent scheduling tools. Conduct labor forecasting, Client planning, and production rate analysis. Manage change orders, cost recovery efforts, and claims processes. Align contract documents, proposals, and billing schedules to ensure financial accuracy. Review budget trackers, invoicing, accounts receivable, work-in-progress reports, and project metrics on a regular basis. Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, superintendents, and field teams to ensure timely and high-quality execution. Lead production meetings and provide executive-level progress updates on safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance. Collaborate with engineering, QA/QC, safety, logistics, and other internal teams to ensure cross-functional alignment. Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Support account growth by identifying additional service opportunities within existing and new client engagements. Ensure compliance with quality assurance and safety standards throughout all phases of project execution. Job Requirements Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in construction, data centers, or technical infrastructure environments. Demonstrated experience managing projects valued at $5M or greater. Experience managing multi-shift crews of 50-150 or more personnel. Strong financial acumen, including experience with schedule of values (SOV), work-in-progress (WIP) reporting, margin analysis, and P&L oversight. Proven experience with schedule recovery planning and execution. Experience managing change orders and claims. Ability to read and interpret construction and design drawings. Proficiency with Primavera P6 or equivalent scheduling software. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel skills for forecasting and financial modeling. Experience with project management platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools. Knowledge of ISP, OSP, fiber, and network infrastructure installations. Understanding of fiber cleaning techniques; splicing experience strongly preferred. Familiarity with OTDR testing and interpretation preferred. Power BI experience preferred. PMP certification preferred. RCDD certification preferred but not required. Ability to travel to project sites as required. Physical ability to stand and walk job sites as needed. Education Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred. Associate degree considered with relevant experience. Work Experience Prior experience managing hyperscale data centers, ISP or OSP fiber infrastructure, mission critical facilities, structured cabling deployments, or colocation data center projects required. Experience supporting large-scale campus deployments preferred. Experience working on major hyperscale or enterprise technology builds preferred.
