Essential Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate with appropriate college, community and industry contacts for the staffing and delivery of curriculum and services to meet client requirements for contracted training and activities. Oversee the deployment logistics of customized, contract training and open enrollment (non-credit) courses including but not limited to assigning appropriate instructor(s); requisitioning materials, supplies, and textbooks; establishing the suitable learning location; invoicing for services. Assist in identifying an appropriate subject matter expert (SME) for customized business and industry training project development and deployment. Effectively market the College's non-credit, community and continuing education offerings internally and externally. Collect and report on participant evaluations of instructors and program content. Evaluate all classes, equipment, instructors, materials and facilities to ensure quality. Assist in the contract process in order to meet financial goals through efficient management of college resources including the tracking of revenues and expenses of contracted services. Produce reports as requested by the appropriate administrator including but not limited to those relating to enrollment, tracking training hours, revenue generation and the overall productivity of the Workforce Solutions Department. Ensure proper registration of non-credit students for courses. Develop and recommend administrative procedural changes enabling the department to respond more efficiently and effectively to clients' needs. Stay apprised and comply with continuing education guidelines for SACS, Alabama Community College System and other entities relevant to non-credit and continuing education. Establish and maintain high-quality, trusting client relationships. Utilize the Workforce Solutions administrative processes to track and monitor client relationships and communicate status of proposals, contracts, and client accounts to internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate the administration of assigned work-based training programs such as cooperative education, apprenticeships, and internships, between the College and industry including recruitment, evaluation, marketing, development and follow-up on individual training plans. Actively pursue grant opportunities and other partnerships and resources. Participate actively in college governance, including service on divisional and college committees as requested or assigned. Perform all duties in a professional manner. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications A minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of 3 years work experience in project and/or training coordination with business/industry, continuing education or Career & Technical Education related activities is required . A minimum of five (5) years demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office products specifically strong skills in Microsoft Word and database management is required . Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate through their experiences and accomplishments: Possession of a valid driver's license and the ability to be insurable. Banner and Salesforce/Target X experience. Demonstrated experience in delivering excellent customer service. Experience in coordinating education, internship, and/or apprentice programs with industry. Experience in coordinating all aspects of a programs including instructor coordination, setting locations, developing schedules, acquiring needed equipment and materials, and covering program administrative requirements, participant tracking and feedback. Demonstrated ability to function as an effective team member. Ability to function with minimal supervision with attention to details and deadlines. Ability to work effectively, courteously and tactfully with a diverse student population, clients base, vendors, faculty, staff, federal agency representatives and the public sector. Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel within the College's service area and attend state and national meetings to accommodate the needs of the College. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Experience with Social Media marketing. Understanding of and commitment to the philosophy and mission of the comprehensive community college. Sick Leave All regular full-time non-instructional staff earns one day of sick leave which is the equivalent of 8 hours of sick leave per month. Unused sick leave is rolled over to the following year. Upon retirement, employees are allowed to convert unused sick time into service time for the purpose of retirement. Unused Personal Leave converts to sick leave if not used. (converts to sick leave at the end of August each year if not used) Professional Leave Up to 10 days a year of professional development leave with pay may be granted by the President.
