Job Description

PROJECT MANAGER
Reports To:
Director of Project Management Summary of Position:
Accomplish project objectives by planning, evaluating, and reporting project activities. Responsible for all stages of initiatives from proposal and requirement definitions to project planning and implementation.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Be able to read construction drawing & blueprints Provide guidance and assistance in cost analysis, budgeting Review and assess vendor proposals. Manage multiple, parallel projects using formal project planning techniques. Set up projects in the Viewpoint System. Establish fabrication schedules and objectives. Coordinate with Contractors Communicate progress towards production, financial, quality and safety goals to internal and external stakeholders. Negotiate change orders. Establish and maintain customer relationships. Other Job Functions Perform other related duties as assigned. Continuing education through certification programs, training, seminars, etc.
Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university preferred. 5 years of project management experience in the PEMB, Structural Steel Industry - commercial fabrication experience is a plus. Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with Microsoft Office Must have at least 2 or 5 years experienced in the construction field
