Building Automation Project Manager

Talascend is currently seeking a Building Automation Project Manager for a contract opportunity with our client in Bentonville, Arkansas . Overview The project manager will oversee internal and external resources to ensure successful BAS installation projects, manage project timelines and budgets, and coordinate on-site activities to meet customer expectations and quality standards. Responsibilities Manage internal and external resources to complete BAS installation projects successfully. Establish the project's critical path and ensure all phases align with the timeline. Support troubleshooting and resolving unforeseen issues during project execution. Develop and monitor all phases of the project budget. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and team members. Manage customer expectations and address any gaps proactively. Own, manage, and secure approvals for change requests impacting scope and budget. Ensure adherence to client-defined standards, processes, and quality standards. Prioritize and escalate issues as necessary. Coordinate on-site system checkout and commissioning with programmers and subcontractors. Oversee the completion and delivery of project closeout documentation and software. Measure and approve project financial milestones. Maintain regular communication with stakeholders on project progress. Qualifications US citizen Experience managing Building Automation System (BAS) installation projects from kickoff through commissioning and closeout Experience managing project budgets and change requests, including scope, cost, and approval impacts Experience coordinating onsite installation, system checkout, and commissioning with field teams, programmers, and subcontractors while managing customer expectations Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of this position through relevant experience, training, or education We thank all applicants for their interest.
