Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead capital projects across multiple feed manufacturing operations within a growing cattle nutrition organization. This highly visible role will oversee projects at 5 feed mill and grain locations and serve as the primary point of accountability for planning, execution, communication, and successful delivery of capital initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on project professional who understands feed milling, grain handling, bulk material processing, or related industrial operations and enjoys managing projects from concept through completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource plans Lead projects from initial planning through commissioning and closeout Partner directly with Location Managers to identify operational needs and project priorities Coordinate and manage contractors, equipment vendors, engineers, and service providers Provide regular project updates to executive leadership and Board stakeholders Ensure projects comply with company safety standards and operational requirements Conduct site visits and maintain a strong field presence throughout project execution Collaborate with fellow Project Managers and the Director of Operations to align priorities and share best practices Required Qualifications:
Experience managing capital projects in feed milling, grain handling, animal nutrition, agriculture processing, or related industrial environments . Strong understanding of feed mill equipment, grain systems, conveying systems, processing equipment, or bulk material handling operations. Proven experience developing project scopes, budgets, schedules, and resource plans. Demonstrated success managing vendors, contractors, and external partners. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level reporting. Ability to travel daily between company locations as needed. Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:
$90,000 - $120,000 Annual Bonus Opportunity:
