This role works closely with senior project managers, office staff, field crews, suppliers, and general contractors to keep projects organized, running smoothly, and completed on schedule. Candidates should have a solid understanding of the commercial glazing process and how projects move from start to finish. Responsibilities Assist in managing project schedules, budgets, and day-to-day coordination Communicate with general contractors, suppliers, field crews, and internal staff Help review plans, measurements, takeoffs, and installation requirements Prepare or assist with RFIs, change orders, purchase orders, and job documentation Track material orders, lead times, deliveries, and jobsite readiness Visit jobsites to observe progress, verify details, and help resolve basic issues Support field teams by providing updated information, drawings, and instructions Maintain organized records, notes, logs, and communication for each project Ensure work aligns with specifications, safety expectations, and company standards Provide ongoing assistance to senior project managers and the operations team Requirements Minimum 3 years experience in the glass and glazing industry (5 years preferred) Project management experience is strongly encouraged Field experience or lead/foreman experience in glazing may be accepted if capable of learning PM tasks quickly General knowledge of storefront systems, commercial windows, glass doors, and door hardware Ability to read plans, measurements, and written specifications Strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities Basic proficiency with typical office and project software (email, Excel, PDFs, etc.) Valid driver's license and ability to visit jobsites as needed Fabrication knowledge and experience preferred but not required.
