Land Survey Project Manager Location:
Phoenix or Mesa, Arizona Job Type:

DOE Licensure Required:
Arizona Registered Land Surveyor (RLS) We are seeking an experienced Land Survey Project Manager to oversee land surveying projects, manage survey teams, maintain client relationships, and ensure projects are completed accurately, on schedule, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, and municipal surveys along with proven leadership experience. Key Responsibilities Manage land surveying projects from proposal through final delivery Prepare scopes of work, cost estimates, budgets, and project schedules Coordinate with clients, municipalities, contractors, and internal engineering teams Supervise and mentor survey crews, technicians, and office staff Review and certify plats, legal descriptions, easements, and survey deliverables Ensure compliance with Arizona Boundary Survey Minimum Standards and
ALTA/NSPS
standards Oversee quality control and technical accuracy throughout project lifecycle Manage project resources, timelines, and profitability Conduct client meetings and maintain long-term business relationships Support field and office survey operations as needed Required Qualifications Arizona Registered Land Surveyor (RLS) license required 10+ years of land surveying experience Strong knowledge of: Public Land Survey System (PLSS) Arizona Boundary Survey Minimum Standards

survey standards Boundary and municipal surveying Experience managing survey projects and teams Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Preferred Qualifications Experience with transportation, municipal, and land development projects Knowledge of GPS, robotic total stations, and survey data processing Prior experience in a consulting engineering environment
