Full Job Description Bluestake & Permit Coordinator Location:

$20-26 (depending on experience)
Job Type:
Full-Time Position Overview Lightspeed NTW is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bluestake Coordinator to manage utility locate requests and support project planning activities. This position is responsible for submitting, tracking, and coordinating Arizona 811 (Bluestake) tickets, reviewing utility plans, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the project teams have the information necessary to perform work safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience interpreting utility plans, coordinating with utility owners, and managing multiple active projects simultaneously. Responsibilities Submit, monitor, and manage utility locate requests through the Exactix 811 portal. Review and interpret utility plan sets to identify potential utility conflicts and project requirements. Maintain detailed records of all Bluestake tickets, responses, and project-related communications. Track ticket statuses, expiration dates, and required renewals to ensure compliance and uninterrupted project operations. Maintain organized spreadsheets and logs using Microsoft Excel to monitor project progress and utility locate activity. Update project notes, utility responses, and status information accurately and consistently. Coordinate with utility companies, contractors, project managers, and field personnel regarding utility locate requests and project schedules. Verify that utility markings are completed prior to project activities. Assist with project planning and coordination by providing utility information to operations staff. Perform occasional field verification and project support as needed.
Qualifications Required:
Ability to accurately read and interpret utility plan sets. Familiarity with the Exactix 811 portal and utility locate processes. Understanding of utility marking color codes and the utility types they represent. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Teams, and Outlook. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Clean driving record. Clean criminal background. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
Experience with utility construction, underground utility projects, roadway construction, or related industries. Knowledge of Arizona utility locating requirements and industry best practices. Experience maintaining project tracking spreadsheets and documentation systems.
