Job Description

Willmeng Construction, Inc. has full time Project Manager 2 position in Phoenix, Arizona.
Duties include:
Day to day execution for assigned projects including coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and personnel to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, while adhering to quality standards; Interact with clients, designers, and project stakeholders to understand and interpret client goals and objectives to ensure successful projects; Prioritize the project budget to obtain best possible pricing and eliminate risk in the buyout process; Provide ongoing analysis of project buyout, savings, and contingencies with understanding of buyout direct effect on project and management of buyout process. Write and distribute bid backages that clearly define project scope and general provisions; Assist with project estimation as needed; Review and fully understand project plans and specifications; Negotiate, analyze, and prepare subcontracts, purchase order agreements, and cost control budgets. Ensure that project team understands aspects of the prime contract regarding specific responsibilities in relation to prime contract checklist; Identify high risk provisions in the prime contract to implement project specific practices to mitigate risk; Review documents control of RFI submittals, change orders, correspondence, procurement, permits, drawings, specs, and reports in a systematic and traceable manner; Manage monthly billing process, including client contact to ensure prompt payment; Responsible for all aspects of project cost reporting, including timely submittal of cost reports, and communicates risk and projections to senior management; Participate in development of baseline schedule for scope of work and manage weekly updates to the schedule; Develop and implement a QA/QC program and oversee execution of the Willmeng Punch List Program and closeout; Promote job site safety and implement, enforce, and effectively manage Willmeng's safety policies and procedures.
Education, Experience & Skills Requirements:
Master's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field. 6 months of experience.
Alternative Requirements:
In lieu of Master's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field and 6 months of experience, Employer will accept Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience.
