Job Description We are seeking a Project Manager to support a high-visibility talent and training initiative within Freeport. This role will focus on driving execution, creating structure, and improving operational efficiency across multiple teams. The ideal candidate is a hands-on PM who thrives in environments that need organization and clarity. You will be responsible for building process documentation, establishing governance frameworks, and ensuring alignment across stakeholders. This role requires strong follow-through and the ability to track progress, hold teams accountable, and keep initiatives moving forward. You will support cross-functional teams spanning technical training, talent management, and instructional design to;
- standardize workflows and enable successful project delivery
- improve overall skill tracking by defining how skills are tracked, how work moves forward, and how progress is reported.
While tools like Azure DevOps are a plus, the primary focus is on execution, coordination, and operational excellence—not technical expertise. - 4+ years of Project Management experience
- Proven ability to: o Drive execution and delivery across multiple teams o Build process and governance documents o Create and manage RACI charts, workflows, and SOPs
- Strong experience with: o Project tracking, coordination, and accountability o Managing cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to: o Track work against defined outcomes and milestones o Enforce ownership, follow ups, and escalation
- Ability to operate as a hands-on "doer", not just a strategist
- Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills
- Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for tracking and reporting
- Background in Talent development, training, or HR programs
- Experience stepping into undefined environments and creating structure / guardrails
- Familiarity with skill frameworks, skill matrices, or capability tracking
