We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager for a highly respected contractor specializing in highway and civil construction, with a focus on grading/earthwork, underground utilities and paving projects.   • 180K Base Salary Executive Level Bonuses PTO Company Vehicle/Auto Allowance Insurance Package Responsibilities Lead and manage multiple civil construction projects focusing on grading, paving, and highway development across assigned regions.
Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or HeavyBid. Oversee daily site operations, ensuring all work complies with safety standards, quality specifications, and project timelines. Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and communication. Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to verify project requirements and facilitate accurate construction estimating using tools like Civil 3D and Bluebeam. Monitor project progress through regular site visits, utilizing project scheduling techniques to identify potential delays or issues early. Manage project documentation including change orders, progress reports, safety records, and compliance documentation. Foster a collaborative team environment by providing leadership, mentorship, and clear communication to all team members. Qualifications Proven experience in heavy civil construction projects with a focus on highway grading and paving; previous site supervision or management roles preferred. Local Experience preferred/DOT Experience a plus. Strong knowledge of construction estimating software such as HeavyBid; familiarity with Primavera P6 is highly desirable. Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, and Primavera P6 for project planning and documentation. Solid understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, contracts management, and construction site safety protocols. Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple teams effectively while managing time efficiently. Hands-on experience with construction site operations involving grading equipment and paving machinery. Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately; familiarity with construction site safety standards is essential.
