What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who: Shows up on time and ready to work Takes pride in clean, organized, high-quality installations Can lead by example and help guide other technicians Communicates clearly with clients, builders, designers, trade partners, and team members Is not afraid to get their hands dirty Can troubleshoot issues and think critically in the field Understands that details matter Represents Audio Integrators with professionalism and integrity Wants to help grow the company, not just collect a paycheck Takes ownership of their work and follows through Responsibilities Manage projects from installation through final completion, ensuring the field team, office, clients, builders, and trade partners stay aligned. Serve as a professional client-facing point of contact, providing clear updates, answering questions, and representing Audio Integrators with confidence and professionalism. Conduct quality control throughout the project to confirm systems are installed, programmed, labeled, tested, and completed to company standards. Take ownership of the final 10% of each project by identifying loose ends, resolving outstanding issues, and making sure every detail is finished correctly. Use hands-on technical knowledge to assist in the field when needed, including troubleshooting, trim-out, system testing, rack cleanup, programming support, and final adjustments. Identify scope changes throughout the project and ensure appropriate change orders are documented, communicated, and submitted in a timely manner. Train clients during final handoff, including transition demos and follow-up education, so they understand how to confidently use their system. Update internal project records, notes, task lists, and follow-up items so the entire team has accurate information and nothing falls through the cracks. Note :
Experience in audio/video stage production is not applicable for this role. We are looking for candidates with residential or commercial AV installation, smart home, low-voltage, or systems integration experience. Lutron, Savant, Screen Innovations, or similar systems Low-voltage lighting and fixture integration Golf simulator technology is a plus Lutron installation and programming is a strong plus Industry certifications are a strong plus Required Skills and Abilities Candidates must be able to: Follow established company processes and policies Work independently or as part of a small team Lead and support other technicians when needed Read schematic diagrams, floor plans, and technical drawings Use a multimeter and other common trade tools Perform clean wire management and professional rack installation Troubleshoot systems in the field Lift up to 50 lbs Climb and work from ladders Maintain a clean and organized job site Communicate professionally with clients and trade partners Document work clearly through written and verbal notes Maintain a positive and professional attitude, even when projects are challenging Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Minimum 5+ years of A/V, smart home, networking, or low-voltage installation experience required Experience with Savant, Control4, or Crestron programming required Strong attention to detail and quality control Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality Positive attitude and strong work ethic Eagerness to learn and improve Valid driver's license required Clean driving record required Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is self-motivated, professional, dependable, and capable of thinking ahead.
