Enterprise Project Manager NextGen Information Services, Inc Tempe, AZ Job Details Contract $50 - $52 an hour 21 hours ago Qualifications Project change management Large-scale organizational change management Process improvement Schedule management Project management Agile Financial management Stakeholder relationship building Stakeholder management Full Job Description Position Overview The Enterprise Project Manager (EPM) is responsible for leading and delivering large-scale, cross-functional enterprise initiatives that align with organizational strategy and business objectives. This role oversees project planning, execution, governance, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, resource coordination, and successful project delivery across multiple business units and functional areas. Key Responsibilities Enterprise Project Leadership Lead the planning, organization, execution, management, and delivery of large enterprise-wide programs and projects. Ensure successful achievement of complex cross-functional initiatives across multiple business units and stakeholders. Manage enterprise projects involving multiple sponsors, geographically distributed teams, and enterprise ecosystem dependencies. Deliver projects within defined scope, timeline, and budget. Stakeholder & Relationship Management Serve as a trusted partner to executive leadership, stakeholders, sponsors, and cross-functional teams. Maintain vertical and horizontal alignment across the organization during project and organizational changes. Set and manage stakeholder expectations while proactively escalating issues, risks, and scope changes when necessary. Partner with Project Managers, department leaders, and functional teams to ensure project success. Project Governance & Execution Perform project and change management activities for initiatives spanning multiple business functions. Integrate effectively with existing Project Management structures within functional departments. Define and maintain clear project responsibilities, accountabilities, and governance structures. Establish project milestones, dependencies, integrated schedules, adoption strategies, and benefit realization plans. Track and report program/project milestones, deliverables, and overall project health. Resource & Financial Management Coordinate project resource requirements across multiple initiatives and teams. Manage assigned resources effectively to ensure project objectives are achieved. Provide accurate forecasting for project budgets, capital expenditures, and resource needs. Risk & Change Management Identify, assess, and quantify project risks and business impacts. Develop mitigation strategies and solution options to minimize project risks. Support organizational change management activities associated with enterprise initiatives. Process Improvement & Best Practices Implement and promote project management best practices, methodologies, and frameworks across technical and functional areas. Collaborate with business units to develop transition and sustainability plans, including ongoing success metrics. Review project deliverables for quality and accuracy while mentoring and supporting project team members. Strategic Alignment Understand organizational strengths, strategic priorities, and corporate vision. Identify opportunities to align enterprise programs and projects with broader business objectives and integration goals. Required Qualifications PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification Agile Certification or hands-on experience working within Agile environments Experience with Change Management methodologies and practices Preferred Skills Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills Enterprise-level program and project management experience Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational abilities Experience managing large cross-functional and geographically distributed teams Strong risk management and problem-solving capabilities Ability to work in fast-paced enterprise environments with multiple priorities

$50.00 - $52.00 per hour
